The Italian calf leather upper is carefully selected, cut and machine stitched before being mounted on the last. Once the high-density rubber sole is aligned and bonded, its stitched 360° to the leather upper. The upper is then chemically treated and prepped for the finishing process. Once prepped, the shoes are then sent to a specialist artisan artilier where they are layered with a rich shoe cream, each layer being buffed to a shine before applying the next. Once finished, the last is removed, Calf leather footbed and waxed cotton laces added before a final quality control is carried out. Once approved, they are carefully wrapped and packed up in our premium Louis Copeland shoe boxes, together with a branded cotton shoe bag for aftercare.
